My New Year's Day yoga class was almost double the normal capacity, perhaps filled with "resolutioners" or occasional practitioners looking to start their year off in a meaningful way. I overheard someone say, "wow, this is really getting crowded." I silently agreed, until I heard the instructor's response: "I know! Isn't it wonderful??"
In an instant, I no longer saw a crowded room ... I saw a community with an opportunity to be #inclusive and welcoming.
Such a genuine and masterful example of #communication and #leadership changing people's mindsets.
