It's okay to say "I don't know."



Three reasons I like this slide and this statement:

1) A leader saying “I don’t know” shows authenticity, confidence and makes the leader relatable.

2) “It doesn’t mean you’re not smart, and there’s no reason to get defensive.” Especially when you surround yourself with the best minds and they don't know, either.

3) It doesn’t spread false hope, heighten panic or make predictions that will likely need to be walked back as more information becomes available.
